Sorry folks, not sure on the best place for this.

Have moved into a new house, there is a gas BBQ there that seems to be working but it's in need of some cleaning as there's some rust on the grills.

What is best for cleaning the grill? A mate suggest there's some wonder Mr Muscle product in a bag...?

Also need to get charcoal for it (south Dublin) any recommendations?

what type of grills are they??

    cast iron, steel grid etc.

if its a gas bbq then what you need is lava rock not charcoal.

lava rock can be gotten in argos and woodies diy cheap enough.

    pics would help.

Steel grills, yeah its a gas BBQ.

Can stick up pictures later on, the igniter seems to be working fine.
So its more a clean and spruce up than anything

It's called Oven Pride, and you can get it in Tesco amongst others. It's a liquid which you place in a (supplied) bag along with the offending article, squidge it around a bit and leave it to work it's magic. I've not used it myself, but there's lots of accounts on here as to it's effectiveness.

ur laughing so .. oven pride works wonders in fairness.. just give the burner a good cleaning with a damp cloth.. any rough spots in the outside and you can buy a can of spray paint that can withstand the high heat.
