Live@ on the PGA app

I'm watching the 3rd round of the farmers here and ya it's a bit stop start. But for free it's not bad at all. I watched a decent amount of golf on it last year. I haven't seen a mention of it here, anyone else use the app?

Tried it. But never works for me. Seems to always get stuck without loading a frame. Iwas wondering was it region protected, although it gives no error message.

Was watching it yesterday on the laptop while waiting for Sky coverage to start. Worked fine for me.

By the way anyone know what time Sky's coverage is starting today?

This is the stream on the PGA Tour app, yeah?

Is it not just a couple of holes only? ie: not full coverage?

Was only 2 holes yesterday; 10 & 13.

Kinda like the early Master's coverage on the red button on BBC....

Same here, only watched for awhile before the Sky coverage started.

Over all American TV, Golf Channel, ABC etc, coverage of golf is shocking. You only get to see shots of players at the top of leader board & every shot from Woods & Mickelson, regardless of how they are doing.

I know this has been discussed many times before however I think it is such a shame that they have to take away from often great tournaments with such poor coverage.

Thanks. Probably clashes with some soap so will be banished upstairs (can practice the putting on the carpet so don't really mind).

Have to be honest I don't exactly know what you mean. But on the official PGA app, clicking the live@ section brings you there ie not an illegal stream. Is that what you are asking?

I have the same problem. We are going to change the carpets upstairs (worn not because they are too quick!!) so think I will bring the putter and ball when going to look at new ones......

I just wanted to make sure that it was from the official pga app as live streams from unofficial sites are not allowed here.

I was flicking between the PGA app and Sky Sports over the weekend and we never saw Tiger's shots live on the PGA app but he was in constant coverage over on Sky, interesting I thought

Yeah, I didn't see him on the app either - definitely a coverage rights thing at play there.

Either that, or he just didn't happen to come through the holes being covered, but I don't think so.

No, not a rights thing. The live stream was only on the south course. So he was on the live stream on Thursday, he wasn't on the Friday(played the other course) then no golf on the sat. Then on Sunday he was on the l-s but only showed 2 holes. 10-13 he will be on those today too and they always show the 18th on the last day. It's not a perfect golf broadcast but its free.
I count it a great service the PGA provide foc, fair enough compaired to sky etc ya it's not great

Chaps - is the PGA Live App working for the Accenture Matchplay ? Clicking on the above only gives a splash screen for me and I can't for the life of me find the proper link on PGATour.com.

Play does not commence until 12.30 local time so there will be no feed until then I'd say
