    I was having a good conversation about winter clothes to guy on a lovely Dolan and Sram gruppo on the Swords fast spin yest. Never got to finish the convo .....Does he post here? Anyone know who he is?

    After.
    And my very specific training plan meant that yesterday was penciled in as a long solo TT effort and nothing hilly.














    in fact all my training plans involve avoiding all hills as much as possible

    I tried the swords fast spin once but the lads couldn't keep up so I had to di two laps to finish with them and I got bored of the scenery and stopped...

    And I'd cycled from Galway that morning to do it...

    And I didn't even had breakfast...

    I only met up with them as I was warming up on a hill close by my house and heard that Killalanerr was going so slowly up the hill that he fell over so wanted to make sure he was ok :p

    Ah jeez, I was getting the sand bagging excuses in for yis so you'd get in under the radar! Fair enough. Attention open racers: The swordsmen are riding 1, 000kms per week in preparation :P

    I think you'll find any one who achieves any quality results in the racing ( as opposed to winter racing or commuter racing) scene avoids it like the plaque .......
