Can you setup a PXE server to do this?

    Hello,
At the moment I have to grab a usb key for booting various os's -typically linux live cd types...

I was wondering if I could setup a PXE server where I could get a list of systems available to boot - like grub does for example.

Also, would it be possible to run clonezilla from a PXE server to restore a clone to a disk. The clone is saved on a nas device? (wishful thinking )

    For sure you can.
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PXEInstallServer

At the bottom of the page it talks about mounting the CD directly, but you could also mount just the ISO file instead. You could also download a PXE image from most of the distro sites.
I found it so much easier when I was installing an old system which kept crashing during the install - faster than USB key or CDROM.
