    Hi,

I'm looking to take up a new sport. I already play football on weekends and would probably be interested in something of the indoor variety.

I am relatively fit, how easy would the likes of badminton be to get into at 23? Any other sports/clubs based in Dublin that would fit the bill?

Badminton is grand to pick up at any age, they run beginners courses in baldoyle and in Whitehall road, terenure which cater for people who've never played before and if you like it there are clubs open to beginners depending on where you're based.also try racquet sports forum

Ultimate Frisbee is an indoor and outdoor game. It is perfect for getting fit, meeting new people and challenging yourself to learn brand new athletic skills. There is also a lot of travelling opportunities if you're interested in that aspect too (and partying...).

There is a Dublin based club that trains on the astros beside Clontarf Dart Station on Monday nights from 8-10pm (€5 per session but you'd get the first one free) and indoors in Ard Scoil Ris, Griffith Avenue, Dublin from 6-8pm on Thursdays (this can depend on numbers but it is on this week for definite if you'd like to drop by).

    Can you skate ?

If so then you should consider becoming a referee for a woman's rollerderby team.

You get to see hot women skating in fishnets stockings and short skirts bash into each other while on skates

Unfortunately no, I cant skate and I may get too distracted to become a successful referee, tis' a shame as I am truly dashing in black and white.

I have bitten my tongue as many tasteless puns are coming to mind.:D

This sounds interesting- seeing as so few play it I would instantly be one of the best in Ireland..........

Unfortunately my Monday evenings are booked out for a very long time, though I think I could possibly make Thursdays.

Haha that's one way to look at it.

If you are free on Thursday, you'll find us here from 6pm. Honestly, it is a lot of fun and if you hate it, it's not like we're going to make you come back.
