If you used the title "Israel orders 21 people dead" this thread would be a few dozen pages long by now

Or Egypt orders 21 foetuses dead.

    Or egypt orders suspended sentances.

Or sean quinn unable to produce 21 dead bodies

Or dead bodies not welcome in popular D4 resteraunt.

Totally against the death penalty. If it was my choiice though, I'd take a humane death over life in prison.

So rather than 74 corpses, there will be 95?....seems legit

    Egypt orders 21 people dead.

    You're grammar is ++ungood etc.

    Anyway
    - An Egyptian court on Saturday sentenced to death 21 people found guilty of involvement in the Port Said soccer stadium disaster in which 74 people died last year.

The ruling could help reduce prospects of fresh clashes on Egypt's turbulent streets.
    ...
The judge, Sobhy Abdel Maguid, read out a list of 21 names "referred to the Mufti", a phrase used to denote a death verdict as all such sentences must be reviewed by Egypt's top religious authority.

So they were found guilty in a court, and the sentences still have to be confirmed.

So it's not Egypt finding them guilty. Unless you are saying that there is no separation between Government, Courts, and Religious. And that none of them will rescind the sentences in light of public / international protest.

BBC ans other news agencies are reporting that 22 people have been killed in rioting after the sentences were passed.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-21211984
At least 22 people have died in the Egyptian city of Port Said, in clashes sparked by the sentencing to death of 21 local people over football riots.

Supporters of the defendants tried to storm the prison holding them and attacked police stations.

It also seems that there are another 52 accused who will be sentenced on March 9th. It's believed that the riot was politically motivated and only took place because of complicity of various officials.

This will only get worse. :(

Yeah, and half the replies would be people cheering on Israel.....

Anyway back to the topic at hand, they were sentenced to death in a court and not ordered as the misleading thread title says. Having said that 21 being sentenced to death is rather extreme, and maybe things will change on appeal.

For one of the most frequent posters on such threads, that's a pretty deluded assertion to make.

...and all of that started with a pitch invasion at a football match

Well, seeing as I post on those thread, then I would certainly be well aware that people like yourself will happily cheer Israel on. So its a bit rich to complain about multi page threads on Israel, seeing as you yourself contribute to them as much as anyone else. You see the thread are long due to 2 sides arguing, so hence my comment about half the posts.

So quite frankly you comments are bit rich, made doubly so, by bringing up Israel in a thread that isn't about Israel. So your cheer leading isn't even confined to threads about Israel, you have to bring Israel up elsewhere. Seems to me that you are the one with issues and not anyone else.

Also, I think it fair to point out that, you haven't actually discussed the actually topic at all so far, and have just been banging on about Israel the entire time, and or taking shots at people who are pointing out how silly your post was. Quite frankly calling me or anyone else deluded is a bit rich.

Anyway, if you want keep going on and on about how unfair it is that people dare discuss Israel, in a thread not about Israel. Then have at it.

    Comments were made in the context of this reply in the second post in this thread, and made tongue in cheek too I suspect;

You really should change the record Wes, its boring the tits off everyone.

20 people have now died rioting about the death sentence of 21 people due to the death of 74 people at a football match with 34 still to sentence. Life definitely has less value in these countries.

Your right, I should totally not point out hypocrites harping on and on about Israel in thread not about Israel, complaining about people discussing Israel. BTW, its not the first time and a Israel cheerleader has said some like this, and I see no reason not to point out how silly it is, tongue in cheek or not (which I really doubt it was tongue in cheek btw).

Also, I notice you haven't actually discussed the topic, just taking shots at me, as you have done so in my direction multiple times in the past. I know that you have some sort of issue with me, and if I really annoy you just use the block button, as I am quite frankly done with your silly personal grudge and will be doing exactly that.

Simply pointing out the hypocrisy of people like you who can rant and rave about 'evil' Israel yet reserve your judgement for the atrocities carried out by your fellow Muslims. I'll be more than happy for you to link me to a thread which has 50% pro-Israel supporters on it, though- would be very interesting indeed seeing as how it doesn't actually exist on boards.

Does anyone else get a whiff of the Iran 1979 "revolution" in Egypt 2012?
Overthrowing a dictator only to replace him with an even stricter Muslim regime, making things much worse than before.

On topic, yeah they should probably not execute those people but there will be riots if they don't.
    And somehow it's Israel's and America's fault..

I have condemned plenty of Muslim regimes before. Making stuff up to justify your obsessive pro-Israel cheer leading after the fact telling lies about other posters, and btw I fail to see the relevance of my Religion or any other poster Religion has to do with anything.

BTW, considering you happily cheer lead what Israel does your in no position to judge anyone imho.

Also, nice of you to admit your intention was to derail the thread from the get go, and to attack other posters on a completely different topic.

Now, now Siuin, your making things up again. I said half the replies, and not half the posters, and it was not intended to be a exact figure either. Suffice to say, there are 2 sides in those threads, and pretending otherwise just shows how obsessed you are with attacking people who disagree with on Israel., or that you are denying your own existence, which would be rather entertaining.

Who has blamed them??!? I have seen no mainstream source, blaming the current mess on the US. Most people seem to blame Mubarak or the Brotherhood, which I would largely agree that the fault of the mess would largely lie with them, personally.

Sounds like it has the ingredients for a civil war. Half the country voted for Mursi, the other half opposed him. The football victims were supposed to be from a football club that opposed Mubarak and the football rioters(todays death sentences) are allegedly Mubarak supporters or were helped by them.

Thrown in the mix is an economy in turmoil with massive unemployment and the security forces that are weak, the future is not looking good for Egypt at all.

Yeah I should have said Egypt orders twenty one people to be killed but I did not think I was being graded. I come on boards to discuss things and I was just trying to make a contribution to the site, no need to be a grammar nazi when it's not needed.

I was no fan of Mubarak, but Egypt has turned into a basket case. I was fortunate enough to have a lovely holiday on the Red Sea and visit the pyramids at Giza a few years ago. But I can't see myself going back anytime soon. The tourism industry is on its knees there, their economy is fast following suit. Libya and Tunisia have gone the same way. I just hope their cultural treasures won't suffer like they have in Mali and other places.
