Is there any way to get cheaper rail tickets for commuters?

sorry if this is obvious, I can't seem to get the information I need from the Irishrail website and their information line is closed for the weekend. I want to find out whether, if I am commuting from Athlone to Dublin every day for work, there is a cheaper monthly ticket or something like that? It would only be for 4 months so I don't want an annual ticket.
    Thanks a million!!

Are you travelling beyond Heuston? will you need a bus/Luas ticket?

It's a fair distance to be commuting, if it is every day. If you can avail of www.taxsaver.ie you can knock off up to 50% of your monthly or annual ticket.

You could get a job with or marry someone working for CIE, Dublin Bus, Bus Eireann, IE, Stenaline or Irish Ferries. They have issue their staff, their spouses and children under 18 with privilege travel cards and only pay one quarter the station fare.

Bear in mind marriage is rather large and serious commitment and marrying someone just to get public transport benefits may not be the best idea.
