Ford Focus Electric Window winding down by itself

    Hi,

I was driving home from work today and when I went to lower the driver side window by pressing the button, nothing happened. After a minute or so, the window completely lowered by itself without me pressing anything. It didn't respond when I went tried to close it.

Eventually it responded but each time I raised it, it would lower itself after that.

The car is a 2002 Ford Focus (1.4L Petrol) with 85k miles on the clock.

Anyone experience this before or know what it might be?

    Thanks,
    John
