Ps3 can't receive messages?

    about 3 or 4 months ago, my Ps3 froze while playing Mw3. I had to plug it out as it was not responding. Ever since that I have never received any messages even though I got my friends to send me messages. The messages that are in my inbox are those that I received before my Ps3 froze. Please help me with this!!

    You have 2 options.

    1. If the firmware is now old, then download the firmware from playstaition website, put it on USB in the correct directorys (see website). Then plug in USB and go to update firmware option on main page, choose media option and let it re-load firmware.

    2. Hold down power key on front until it beeps 3 times. Choose restore PS3 firmware from options and let it do the rest.

    Either way, you need to re-load the firmware.
