Help building PC

Badtime

Hi guys, I'd like to build a gaming pc. I've heard 1000 euro should be more then enough to build a decent pc to last a while. I know nothing about building pcs or putting one together with out damaging it. I've no idea what websites are the best etc. So any help would be appreciated. Also like I've said down below I know very little about overclocking and from what I've understood it increases performance at the cost of longevity.

1. What is your budget? €1000-1500

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming
3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No.

5. Do you need a monitor? No

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? I don't know enough about overclocking to give an answer. >.<

8. How can you pay? Swirl card.

9. When are you purchasing? Soon as possible with your guys help.

10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Kerry.

Hey there, I'm not really in a position to give you much help as I've only just figured out what I wanna put in my pc, with 1000 you are going to have a killer rig.
This 3 part series really helped me out a lot and gives some very good info on builds/parts and the likes.

Willing to pay by bank transfer?, as that is pretty much the only way with Hardwareversand who are probably the cheapest around.

Just checked the site out, you can pay by credit card. I'll watch that video series on youtube CornsnakeKeeper but in the end I don't think I'd trust myself putting a computer together or picking parts out. >.<

Its just that they add 3% surcharge onto the cost for CC or Paypal.

I did this one yesterday in another thread would be very similar to what you'd be looking at. You would only need to add windows 7 or windows 8 as prefered.

Some of those parts are overkill tbh.

If he's not overclocking that board and proc are wasted. There is also no need to upgrade from the stock cooler if you're not ocing. I'd advise you to overclock though as it's very easy these days but you will pay a premium for it.

You could save €100 or more by changing parts to the non overclock versions.

I think the ASrock Z77 pro 3 and 4 are more than enough for most people as well. The extreme will have 0 effect on your overclocks. Even the extreme 6 and 9 from what I've seen will have 0 impact on 3570k overclocks. Unless you're going with lh2.

If you aren't overclocking there is no need for a Z77 board at all.

That's a serious build it's pretty much the same as the one I'm using at the moment except for the GPU is a gtx 680 and the cooler is a h100 and it's the r3 not r4

You could drop the motherboard to pro 4 or pro 3 and drop the SSD to 128gb and the HDD To 2TB to save cash

If you're not sure then absolutely find someone with experience to help, but I'm more confident I can do it after watching those videos, bring a drink cos them videos are loooong
