I am moving from Balinasloe to Galway City and have to inform Social Welfare of my new address.
Not sure if i should tell them Monday when i move in as i need my next 2 weeks for bills that are long overdue.
I am afraid in the changeover they will hold my payment.
Anyone have experience of this. Thanks.

From my experience you will have to wait a week before the payment goes through, when you will get the two weeks payment to get you back up to speed. Doesn't usually take longer than that
