    I need a new pump and they are too expensive! Looking for a cheaper option or 2nd hand one? Thanks

    You would get a rgi to supply and fit for around that

    Thanks. Local heat merchant quoted 90e for a 2550pump, that sound right?

    That price is about right for a Grunfos 25/50 but that's not the pump that's in your boiler

    Well it is now. Will it be ok? The pcb was replaced too.

    The 25/50 will work fine in it.

    Anyone know if the pump in the boiler is expensive will a new motor and impeller fit the pump body? Same brand obviously.

    Generally yes. I have often replaced a 15/50 head with the head of a Grundfos 25/60 with very good success on poor circulatory systems.
    It does depend on what is installed though.

    or can also use an Ideal universal pump €55 for a 5m head or €65 for 6m last time i bought one
