no need to buy anything in advance.

We'll be advising students on what they need when they turn up for induction. A laptop will be needed if students prefer to study outside the college - otherwise assignments can be completed in the labs in college. A tablet for reading notes/taking notes/participating in classes will be essential, but doesn't have to be expensive one.
We'll give a few options in September according to personal requirements.

All first years start on Mon 9th of September

Just wondering, any chance of transferring from another Uni to this course? First yr completed in another Uni. in software development.

Do you mean transfer into second year? This is a new degree, so we only have 1st year running in sept. Also, there would be subjects that prob wouldn't have been covered in SW dev.

says on letter from gmit induction for 1st years on Monday and Tuesday 9th and 10th Sep,does that mean we don't go in on the Monday

10 to 4:30 on Monday, there is an earlier start on Tues of 9:15 and we will have to finalise the finish time that day.
