In a upcoming build, I and my father were going to put in a intel ssd but due to no stock from the source we planned to get from we have decided that we will look elsewhere.

We're looking for an SSD with the MINIMUM of 120GB? Was looking up some reviews and what came up was a Crucial m4 128GB drive, positive reviews but anyone here have a drive from these? Are they durable? Reliable?

If not, What SSD's would you recommend? Price range 100-150€ Minimum?

    Thanks!

The Crucial M4 is pretty much pole position in terms of SSD reliability

Intel SSD are right up there in terms of reliablility, i own one for the last 2 years and it is perfect, still running as fast as ever

Intel's are quite expensive though right? And that's good! Hmm, Decisions decisions...

I'd say half the forum has some sort of M4 you really can't go wrong for the price.

Yes more expensive, to be fair you wont go wrong with the intel or the crucial drives, they are solid choices.

Ive an intel 330 180gb series SSD and it is excellent - read and write speeds are excellent. i chose intel for reliability and good performance including speed but there are faster SSD's out there in the world.

SSD prices will fall more - they are on average a dollar a gig at the moment

I've personally used M4s in three builds, and I'm running a Samsung 830 in my rig. Both are very reliable, and fast.

Intel used to only produce enterprise drives that's why people still assume there expensive, Intel drive es are renowned for reliability like the m4.. The intel 330 Is a quality affordable drive.
