Why are they selling them at 5mths old is my first question? Why isnt there any photos of them and if they're a reputable breeder why are they using Buy and Sell?

    That's just to start.....

what reason could there be for selling 5 month old puppies? Have they been returned, what conditions have they lived in, have they been socialised - or have they been in a barn somewhere. I'm not sure how anyone can say that the ad is fine, you need to phone and ask a lot of questions - and take the answers with a pinch of salt until you see proof.

a lot of breeders of springer spaniels myself included keep them until 5/6 months to see how they develop before picking which pups they are going to keep themselves as for the add the question was the add look ok and yes it does to me but would anyone be stupid enough to buy a pup from an add of course you are going to ask a lot of questions and see the conditions where the pups were kept and reared oh and by the way i keep my pups for 5/6 months and not in a barn they are well socialised and very well looked after not every breeder get their bitches in pup just to make money breeding lines are very important to us ess breeders

I am at a loss to know how anyone could tell OP that the ad looks okay, given that I'm assuming the OP was not trying to ascertain the grammatical aesthetics of the ad, but rather was wondering could he/she draw conclusions about the quality of the dogs or the reputation of the breeder from this ad. No, of course he/she can't, and neither can anyone else.
It looks as okay as an ad saying "Toyota Corolla, 2006, full NCT, taxed til October". Would you say this car is a good buy based on this ad? I seriously doubt it.
    Caveat emptor, OP.

Mod hat on: Aside from all of that, linking to ads for pet animals on websites is against the forum charter.
