    watsup!! just wondering if anyone on here knows if theres anywhere in north dublin that practices this sport?

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, sometimes known as Gracie Jiu jitsu can be found in many places, My gym in Rush, Rush Fight Academy does it, Team Ryano in Baldoyle, Kyuzo in Glasnevin, there is more too.

    Yup theyre the same.
    There is zero striking in G/BJJ.
    It is a grappling art.

    GJJ is BJJ Daniel, their is a self defence syllabus the Gracie's do but that's not GJJ. Personally it's just a marketing tool they use to make money.

    60 a month or 10 a class, for new members the 1st month of BJJ is free.

    Full membership to the gym, that means you can train every evening weekdays and 4 mornings a week, that includes BJJ, MMA and Boxing.

    even if ya just do 2 classes a week thats 7.50 a class.
    Lot's of good clubs about though so i'd just go to wherever is local to you.

    Defend U .ie is run by head coach Ray butcher its in clonshaugh industrial estate just off the oscar traynor road. There is Aikido / BJJ / MMA and As i said Gracia Self Defence, its a great place, very clean, very welcoming and great craic. Pm me your number and i will give you a bell or check the website.
