Recommendations for removing thermal paste/new cooler

Hey folks,

I've never really removed my cooling solution unless changing a CPU entirely, but I'm quite happy with the i7 2700k I currently have but want to get rid of the bulky air cooler (an Arctic Cooling Freezer i30) and replace it with something like the Corsair H100 or H100i (which will fit nicely in the Carbide 500R case I have).

So I was hoping to get some suggestions on products to use to remove the old thermal paste as much as possible, before fitting the H100 (which should have paste pre-applied). Would something like this work ok:

Use an alcohol wipe. Is nonconductive and does the job fine. Just squeeze some of the alcohol out as there can be to much sometimes.
