First time I've had annual leave in months and I wake up with a horrible cold. All my plans for the day have gone out the window. I'm now lying on the couch, wrapped up in my duvet with my two dogs for company. It's not too bad actually. :)

Exactly, why be out shopping and galavanting and wasting your time when your poor husband is dying in bed.
Get home and make him some nice soup, get him his favourite DVD on and nurse him back to health.
Sounds like you are being selfish, remember the "in sickness and in health" promise when you got married ?

    (joking by the way):pac:

You're going to have to be more careful with how you phrase things around these parts.

"One of those days??" Just be grateful it's only one.

By Friday night I still couldn't find my suitcase.
As usual, on Sunday morning I was so wrecked I was creeping like a nun. I didn't feel right for ages.
Monday was a chore. I had to spend ages showing one of the kids how to tie his bootlaces, but at least he got it in the end.
Tuesday afternoon in particular just felt like it'd never end!
This morning I went to the door to pick up the papers and they weren't there. They still haven't come.
And now I've just noticed a hole in my stocking. I'll probably have to mend it tomorrow.

Sometimes I wonder how I manage to make ends meet.

It's awful annoying, and I have to kick at them, but I do admit I get a little spark of joy when I see how they run!

Take the kids out to the park while its not raining. Give the poor fella a bit of peace and quiet. Last thing he needs right now is screaming kids.

2 litres of coke. Coke and mass amounts of sweets cause behavioural problems with children.

I just felt like being that negative f*cker.

Have decided to leave my job today. Too many straws and the last one was today. Going into the office to hand in my notice in the morning and then just have to get through two more weeks them I'm off. Mixed emotions but if it wasn't today it was going to be in the next week or two anyway. No way I could stick it anymore than that.

Actually one of these two might cheer people up:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3vpw17VXcI
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUNmLuNdiL8
First contains a sad song and a cartoon
    Second contains adorable cats.
Also about the second video: there's a scene which involves a celling fan, it's 100% fake and no cats were actually hurt

Now that must be a real pisser, here you are expecting some praise, thanks and a pat on the back and you get the complete opposite :(

Tbh I've had one of those tired days today, no energy all day to do anything, bare minimum was done in work and been on the couch since I came home.

    Hopefully back to normal tomorrow

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

―Oscar Wilde predicting Social Media, in The Picture of Dorian Gray
