Is this thing still going? I tried e-mailing them and no luck, I got a failure notice.

Pretty sure it is because they just launched in trinity based on UCD success.

I'd reccommend Clever Cuisine, affordable meals, easy to follow and not too bad food it must be said.

My main gripe with them, which has now been resolved was the allocated pickup time, 5-6pm on a Monday. Grand for someone living close to UCD, but if you had to make the commute then it was very inconvenient. However, they have informed me that they will hold your meal for up to a day, so you can collect it the next day, as they have been allocated fridges to put the meals in.

Furthermore, you can also buy directly from the Student Union shop at a cost of €12, just 2 euro extra than if you are a student buying from the website.

Is the food any good? Had a look at the recipes and a LOT of it seems to be fried...

I've gotten it most weeks since it launched. The main selling point for me is the convenience of not having to plan out meals (with accompanying vegetables).

As for the meals themselves, I have a George Foreman grill by which one can cook nearly all the meals (except for stir fry and it probably isn't the best for kievs either). Thus the problem of a lot of fried meals hasn't been an issue for me.

Other comments would be that potato (and variants) isyour main side for most meals so one should probably stock up on pasta and rice to vary that.

The meals themselves are fine but I will say that the gourmet sausages are very nice (there are two different types).
