Will this laptop support dual monitors?

Thinking of buying a Dell Vostro 3360. The price is very good for the spec and it comes with a VGA and HDMI port but will the graphics card support dual monitors for extended display?
I was chatting with a Dell rep who said that it was an integrated intel HD 3000 graphics card and that it had not been tested on dual displays and recommended a latitude e series with a docking station.

Anyone know if the Dell Vostro 3360 will support dual display?

It will support an external monitor and the use of your primary laptop display. Its unlikely it will support 2 external monitors. If it does for some reason, you probably would be disabling your laptop screen. Intel HD controllers can ultimately support only 2 screens at once.
Can I output video to three display devices, not just two? No. Intel® graphics products can output to one or two display devices at the same time. More than two display devices can be physically connected, but only two display devices can be used at any time.
Some customers report being able to use third-party video splitter devices to allow output to more than two display devices. Intel has not tested these configurations nor can make recommendations on these third party devices.

One of these Matrox boxes might be what you need, I haven't used any of them before though.

Thanks. I won't be using the laptop display as I'd close the laptop cover and just have the two external monitors. I'm currently using a Lenovo N500 which supports dual display and this laptop is almost five years old.

No, Intel HD4000 supports up to 3 displays.
