Is bonding enough for lips / spoilers etc.?

    Well lads.

Looking at putting side skirts, rear spats and a spoiler on my e12 Corolla. Nothing mad, just the trims that came on higher spec models.

I emailed the lad selling them asking about fitting kits, and he said bonding would be enough. They're pretty small (and spurious so probably lighter than genuine), so would professional bonding be enough to keep em sturdy?

    Any opinions much appreciated.

Usually you'd use tiger seal and double sided tape.

Try and get genuine ones if you can. The ones on the 06 spec luna model are about the only skirts that don't ruin the look of the car. You can also get rear spats for the bumper.

I'd love genuine ones, but they're unreal hard to find second hand for 3 doors and I haven't the funds for new ones yet :( Love the Luna models though, and the T3's. Been watching out for 2nd hand alloys for ages :D

Just have to cross the fingers and hope for the best!

In this case, OE stuff is best. I've never seen a nicely modified corolla e12.
The blue seats from the luna would be great too.

Better find one in a scrapyard!

As said, Tigerseal and Double sided tape. Tis your only man! (where man is bonding agent :P)

    Or James Bond.

Tiger seal or window bond will do your job.
