I was browsing online looking for jobs and I noticed that a lot of people put an ad up of themselves, looking for a job. I was just wondering if this strategy is ever successful as I find that highly unlikely. Any of you have experience with this?

My wife who works in a cafe employed someone this way, but I doubt that many prople would be that succesful this way.
