Anyone have any experience of DIY ski trips to les deux alpes? Just wondering what the handiest option is for a transfer from Grenoble or Lyon? Any advice appreciated.

    £45 Return from Grenoble http://www.bensbus.co.uk/

Have a look at Turin airport too. Not sure about transfers but it's not too much farther away from L2A and flights are way cheaper.

It's an easy enough transfer using public transport. You don't really need a private transfer unless your flight times are late/early.
From Grenoble Bus/Train station there is a local bus service which is fairly cheap - about 10 euro and I think it runs every couple of hours to L2A. You need to get a bus from the Airport to the Bus/Train station (Gare Grenoble) which runs regularly and takes about 10-15 mins. In the winter I think there may be some buses that go from Grenoble Airport direct to L2A. Transfer time is about 1 hour 45 mins.

You should be able to find timetables at the website below:

    Hope that helps
