Taxis from Old Trafford to Manchester Airport

    Hi

    Im heading to Man Utd vs Fulham on Saturday, and I have a flight home at 22:00, does anyone know how and where I should book a taxi to get me to the airport

    You'd make it by tram and train quite easily if you'd prefer.

    Don't know about taxis from there, I'm usually at the ground of the champions.

    its about 10 miles, bear in mind that Trafford is closer to Manchester city than the airport, which is further south and closer to Wilmslow

    You could nip down to the Copthorne hotel for a quick pint after the match & ask the receptionist to call a minicab.

    Apologies for bringing up an old thread- does anyone have any info on this. Will I get a taxi on the day or should I book in advance. Also, if I should book in advance does anyone have any names of reliable taxi companies in Manchester I could contact

    Hailo is active in Manchester. Unless you're booking to be picked up in a hotel or from a private house, it's unlikely that a taxi company will take an advance booking so Hailo is probably your best bet.

    Get a train or a tram. Far cheaper and you won't get there much quicker. Definitely not quick enough to warrant the price difference.
