    Hi folks,

What's the onboard price with Ryanair for the Stansted Express into London Liverpool Street (single or return)?

The cheapest price (online) I see for a return is 24 Sterling per adult.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    spannerism

I can't help you with the SE price, OP, but I can suggest the idea of the Terravision bus to Stratford if price is a concern. It costs £11 return. Journey time is about 50 mins iirc. That's usually what I go for when if I'm not driving to Stansted.

Ryanair wont be cheaper. Just come out of departures, go right and get a terravision bus ticket. 8 pound one way, bus goes every fifteen mins and they are usually empty.

The train is a rip off and usually only about 20 mins quicker.

Last time I took that train (admittedly some years ago), the standard train ticket bought in the station below the airport was about £4 cheaper than the Ryanair price. Same train, same journey time.

But yeah, the Terravision bus is the more sensible option.

Prices from £2 single and drops you in Baker Street.

+1 for easybus if you are tight on budget.
It's not the most convinient journey as you will have to get the tube if you are going to central London but it is unbeatable on price.

After getting the express for years, I have realised its a massive rip off. The bus might take a few minutes more, but its waaaay cheaper and drives past the Olympic stadium which is good to see!

Last time I took the Stansted Express, I pre-booked it online and when I got to the airport there was even a lad selling them in Kerry Airport, and even Ryanair were selling them onboard too and Ryanair were the cheapest of the three with I having paid the most having pre-booked online, this was in 2011 but it might still be the best bet.
