Adventures In Gamestop - Douchebag Edition!

    :cool: lol....i feel another Wireless Headset debacle-a-coming.....but here we go! :cool:

    So as yáll might know Gamestop are running a buy two get one free deal on second hand games.

    They have a flyer with what games you can get free and marked with a black sticker. You need to buy two red sticker games to get one black. So i was poking around the Gamestop stores and spotted the deal....cool i said.

    So looked for the cheapest red sticker games, to my shock they had several games at just 99 cent each! :eek:

    Fifa 08/09/10....Pro Evolution Soccer 08/09 and some golfing games....so my brain started turning over........

    I picked up four 99 cent red sticker games and two black sticker games, Battlefield 2 and Modern Warfare 4.....go up to the till, yer man looks at me funny.

    So he starts scanning everthing in and the grand total of €2.97 popped up!.....:D

    I says to yer man...that was a good deal and he gave me a bregrudging......mmmm.

    So i leave, travel the 3km to the other Gamestop, and pull the same stunt.....bingo!, LA Noire and Dead Space 2.

    So for 7 quid i got 12 games.....:p

    Now i tried a few days later but they must have caught on, because the 99 cent games were now suddenly market with black stickers.....:rolleyes:
    Anyways for 7 notes i got a great feckin deal!....even if i never play the soccer crap.

    Good on you. I miss the old 3 for 2 deal. Not this sticker nonsense. Even the new price tags bug me.

    Really depends on how overflown with "big name" titles they are, usually this is a way to clear those hundred copies of 2nd hand Assassins Creed and CoD games they get traded in.

    Dunno about the prices, Ive always seen the games on offer for their regualr €20-30 price, no sign of 0.99c games here :(

    No Phil well finished, last time I saw them available was about two weeks ago. GameStop were having a sale on headsets but I think it's finished today.
