Has anyone replaced a sky mk 1 dish with a new mk4 dish recently, what i am trying to find out is if the holes in the new mk4 wall bracket will align with the holes already drilled for the old bracket.

If the old bracket is sound, just use it, keep the new one as a spare.

What are the advantages of the new dish compared to the old one?

You get a couple more years before it, too, rots and falls off the wall. They perform well, but they are so poorly made.
