I tried this with a grand cherokee tax office was fine but doe test centres wouldn't test it.
They all had different interpretations but basically the goods area wasn't big enough % compared to passengers area. You might have slightly more room so I would advise droping into a doe centre for advise.

the load area is supposed to be 45% of the wheelbase of the vahicle.

If the customs inspector (now done in the NCT centre, I think) are ok with it, then DoE should be too.

There are a lot of LC Prados around with this conversion done.

The loadspace bit is if you are trying to retain the second row seats as a crew cab. The definitions have all changed again thanks to the EU and I've lost track f what they are.

Assuming it's already Irish registered and if you are just keeping the front seats you don't need a bulkhead but have to black out the windows. You used to just get it weighed and DOE'd and the local office would change the logbook. Friends that have changed the body type on their Defenders recently have had to take it to an appointed assessor before the VRO will alter the log book.
