    hi guys,

    i think i may have lost a receipt for something that i need to rma
    to get repaired

    question is i used my visa debit card to purchase it
    will a printout of the purchase record be enough?

    Usually yes. Should be easy for the retailer to cross check what was actually purchased on that day with your statement and card number.

    small issue is that the retailer has gone under (hmv)

    so i am sending it directly to the manufacturer

    Reckon they would be less fussed about a proof of purchase!
