We bought a Zafira last year that only had 1 key...the static, non-flip type. I ordered a spare on ebay when I bought the car, but had trouble sourcing the transponder to go into it....so I gave up.

I did another ebay search and found a flip key and the seller claims he can cut and code the key. My question (which I have asked via ebay just now) is: Will the seller likely be able to cut and code the flip key for me, considering the current key is the static type? I have sent him the 4 digit code on the key blade. The ebay link is => http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160950362876

I got a reply from the ebay seller and he said the code I gave him sounds like the immobiliser code. Could that be right? He said they usually start with "Z" though. He also said I would need to get it programmed to the car. I'm in Dublin 13. Anyone know who can program the key and what the cost will be?
