    Ridiculous thing to demand.

Wow. Don't like the sounds of it.

Amazed at how positive Cockerill and Smith seem about it. Maybe the proposals aren't as intrusive as the article lets on?

Ah come on, they're not demanding anything. As Cockerill says "'BT are going to canvass clubs as to what we think are acceptable boundaries."

    Interviewing players while sin-binned:

"And now for our weekly chat with Dylan Hartley"

If they did it, like the NFL network does for the Americas Game programme it could work. As long as it wasn't released before the game. I'd love if they had the mic on the coaches but once again it would have to be for after the game use.

This is what I'd expect from them more to be honest.

Hell they could even mic up the players! Stick the mics in the GPS devices! It'd be very interesting to hear what they're saying!

I'd love to see a Hard Knocks style documentary on one of the teams. That could really light a fire under the Aviva Premiership

Fair enough but still, the notion that teams will hand over tactics is baffling to me.

I suppose it all depends on how it's handled.

At worst it could be highly intrusive. I wouldnt want all this behind-the-scenes footage to accumulate into a reality tv like fair.

I really dont want to hear from a player who's been sent off - what's there to be said? Interviewing players at half time is just as ridiculous.

If we get something like 'America's Game' I'm all for it
If we get the likes of Will Greenwood et al discussing a teams planned tactics prematch theh hell no

    Tactics
Saracens: we like to kick it
    Sale: we haven't a clue.....

I don't like this idea. Too many replays, little extras etc ruin it for me. I want to watch a game of rugby, I don't care what a player just sinbinned has to say etc. What can they say? Publicly remonstrate with the referee's decision?

This is almost taking a step toward American football esque coverage where everything is over analysed and as such you have this dull stop-start affair that seems more like science than sport.

Yep, they'll have cheerleaders and piped music next.... Oh....

Quins: Some French guy speaking French translated into indesciperable mumbo jumbo to do with playing the beautiful game.

I still watch this video regularly. I love the way Thorny tosses him like a child.

Another reason why Thorn is a great player. :pac:

It would be very interesting to hear the players, don't think it would be very family friendly though. :p
