IO Shield, Standoffs and Motherboard Question

Ok so I'm in the process of building my computer and I ran into a bit of a problem but I fixed it but I just want to know if my fix isn't actually going to cause me a problem so here's the deal

I had the standoffs in the case and the IO shield in place, so I went to mount the motherboard and the IO wouldn't line up with the IO Shield so I removed the standoff closest to the IO Shield and they lined up

Is doing that going to cause me a problem or is it ok??

Provided all the other standoffs are installed and being used this won't cause an issue I would think. Cant see why it would

As long as the motherboard is not making contact with the case making a short you should get away with it.

I have no standoff right across from the IO Shield and no standoff the next place above it because the IO on the motherboard and IO shield wouldn't line up if I just a standoff in either place

When you say line up, on which axis do you mean? Like if the case is lying on its side(open side on the top) is the motherboard too high/low with the standoff in place?

Might wanna check the motherboard tray is all ok and sturdy. Whats the case.

It'd be alright not to use it, but I'd be a tad concerned that it didnt fit right unless its a cheapo case.

    The Case is http://lb.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?adp=0&aid=50576&agid=631&apop=8

so yeah the case is on it side top open and the motherboard is to high up and won't line up with the IO Shield when I have the standoff closest to the IO Shield in place but when I removed that standoff it fits in fine

IO shield will hold it in the correct position so I wouldnt worry.

    As in cable management?

Yours is the reverse of my Outlaw, or more correctly mine is the reverse of yours as its the inverted ATX case.

Basically, put the PSU in so the cables are on the motherboard side, then run them through that grommet and up behind the drive cages. Put what you need through and then tie the spare down with cable ties in that space back there.

SSD is hidden back there too but I couldnt do the HDD neatly as there isnt room on the other end for the SATA cable as the fans are there.

You don't need stand offs with that case they're built into it. If your adding stand offs on top of what case has the MB wont line up.
