Is it just me or is there like minded people out there that thinks face book is one of the worst things to come of the internet. Its got so bad that everybody has every thing up on it about them selfs "and other people" there seems to be no privacy now, is this the way it is always going to be or will things change??:mad:

Facebook is made up of your "friends". Get new friends. Problem solved.

Facebook is only as bad as you let it be. You can stop people from tagging you without your permission, you can stop people other than friends from accessing your details etc.
There's way to manage the things that annoy you, however, if there's so many things than do annoy you, then ditch it!

I was on it but the novelty wore off pretty quick. People LOVE uploading and posting inane shiite. I don't care what you had for dinner or when you had your last bowel movement. I certaintly couldn't care less about your kids or about how much you love x,y or z.

I don't give a fup where you have just "cheked in" and I don't want to see pics of you on holidays with your wrinkley granny in a bathing suit. If you tag me in a photo I will slap you so hard your mother couldn't even love you anymore.

I fully +1 this post....

Google plus is actually decent for what it's worth, OP should take a goo, you can have a circle (Friends group) for "w@nkers" and you dont see their inane bollockology show up in your feed, it's decent....

thats the problem alot of the people i know are on it, any night out, wedding ect ect out with the cameras and the rest is obvious your all over the thing and iam not making a fool of my self either on these occasions its just every one know your biz

Why should I care about someone kids?

And if you tell your friends not to tag you in any photos...and then they do....they get a slap.

Actually, not really.

I deleted my account. Not because I'm rabidly anti-facebook. I just started to find it a silly waste of time. And yes, I'm aware of the difference between 'deactivate' and 'delete'. I heard that the info of deleted accounts was held, so I tried my old login and password, and lo and behold - newsfeed still active, notifications still coming in!

I've repeated this several times over the last six months. FB really should give their delete account monkeys a better brand of peanuts!
