Lads need a bit of help. Drive an 07 mondeo 1.8tdci. In the past 3 days abs/stability control light has appeared on dash. Mechanic checked all sensors/wiring and all appeared okay. Ran diagnostics no faults showing on sysyem. Car seems to be driving okay. Cruise control also not working. Ran the self test on the car and the following dtc codes appeared c41668, f00616, f2268, f41568 appearing. Any ideas what the could be the issue.

I'm no expert but hopefully it might be a loose connection to ECU. If diagnostics sat the sensors etc are ok then may just be a small fix. Keep us informed buddy

Those Mondeos have a pretty crap ABS system. They can have problems with ABS controllers, wiring and/or sensors, so pretty much any part of the whole system. You need to get the car checked out by someone who has the proper diagnostic equipment and is familiar with the car in question.

those mondeos give a bit of abs trouble alright but once the light is on , a hard fault is logged , so you just need to get it plugged into a ford system to get a definate answer as those those fault codes are abit all over the place

Just to update ye lads brought the car to the ford dealer today. Diagnostics showed a fault in the wire to the front right abs sensor. Any idea is this a big fix?
