Question about plastic corks

Was in need of some corks and I came across some plastic ones on Homebrew West.

    http://www.homebrewwest.ie/brouwland-wine-cork-synthetic-38mm-25-pieces-2294-p.asp

    The thing is, it says:
and only use a solid corking machine on base or an electrical corking machine. The pressing blocks should close perfectly to avoid creases in the cork. The pressing blocks should be made of stainless steel, chromium-plated or nylon.

I only have a two handled corker and im wondering are these completely unsuitable for these?

If they are is there other corks you would recommend? Im really trying to avoid the really cheap corks that might break or let air in

These are fine, they are made from eva and used extensively in Italy.
Per bottle they will provide a safer result than traditional cork.
