OP, please see your GP. He/she will be able to help you.

Sounds like you lack purpose. If you're drinking, stop. Get to bed early and wake up early. Try to have something planned like a brisk walk. Even better if you can plan stuff that involves other people. Housework can build up.. Make a list of chores that need doing and mark them off as you complete them.

Hi OP, You need to see your GP as Neyite suggested, but as tony81 says, try and fight this feeling, try not let it get in on you. I heard an interview once by this lady who said she was feeling like you, but the only thing that brought her through that was having to look after her children. She had to drag herself out of bed, and really force herself to do the things she had to do, but this helped her as it stopped her condition getting worse.

You may not have children, but you must still get up and take everything a step at a time. Just tell yourself, I am going to have a shower with nothing else in mind. The shower will help motivate you, to go for a walk, the walk will make you feel better. Do the list thing like tony81 suggests. Ticking things off gives you a sense of achievement. Good luck OP.
