My Russian friends at Vostok are very active these days, bringing out new watch cases and models.
They're finally going into the right direction, moving away from "tourist watches" with silly fake soviet military dial motives and are instead re-interpreting some of their classics.

Firstly the 100 series case (which you may have already seen:D)




Then the 90 series, a revival of their classic tonneau case




and on Meranom's facebook page a preview of yet another new (old) model, the 110 case



All slightly bigger than usual (41 / 42 mm) and with contemporary 22 mm wide straps or bracelets. Those that are for sale already come within the very affordable 60 Euro price bracket.


On a different price and quality level there also are some new Amfibia models, the "Turbina" series.

Addictive I don't know (yet ) but there are no other watches out there representing this kinda value for money, are there?

Edit; I'll probably be OK, I've just read that it's 45mm.

The Turbina looks great and for €195 is not bad for an mechanical watch. What is the build quality like?

I haven't seen one in the flesh yet, but if my Amfibia Reef is anything to go by the quality is much better than the price suggests.
