Sorry i know this is probably an old issue but asking again

live in an old house with 5 radiators. Its an oil central heating system. The last radiator in the system needs to be fully bleed every two weeks. It is full to the bottom with air. Had a man in servicing the boiler and he said that it is normal for the last radiator to be bled but i wouldn't have thought it would be this much.

With its constant need for bleeding, i need to get a new bleed screw. Where can i get one around cork?.

i checked for leaky pipes but found no water anywhere. Do i have a leak if a radiator needs a full bleed every two weeks?

    thanks

What he told you is absolute nonsense. You have a leak and it is probably located on the last bit of pipe run to the radiator.

Is it an open system, do you have a small supply tank in the attic or is it a closed system with an expansion vessel? Is the pressure relief valve leaking?

Is this constantly refilling , tie the ballcock up and see how long it takes for the water level to drop this will give you an indication how bad the leak is , have you concrete floors downstairs
