Anyone know where I can buy Mesh Pocket material ? I want to add an elastic mesh pocket inside my large winter coat.

    Thanks.

Is it necessary to make one's own ? I thought it would be possible to buy one ready to fit ...... anyone ?

you don't give much detail on where/how it's gonna be on the coat, but do you mean something like this stuff? that, some binding, lining [assuming you want the back of the pocket lined rather than just up against the coat fabric] and some elastic if you want to diy, i'd imagine.

Sorry ... I am finding it very difficult to find the right terminology. I used to have one of these in coats I had some years ago.

This one looks like that I am looking for ?

Maybe it could be called "Netting" ?

ah, i see i see. do you mean the pic where he has his hand in the pocket? it's not really stretchy, more of a synthetic/plasticy stuff?

you could try murphy sheedy or hickeys. not sure if they'd do something that specialised though. i've seen it on fleabay in the past but sometimes trying to find specific fabrics there is like finding a grain of sand in a bowl of cous cous.

Looks like it .... thanks for the advice. I never imagined it would be so elusive. I have always found these kinds of pockets really useful for larger awkwardly shaped objects.
