Hey boards! Recently my dad and I decided to go ahead and start ordering our parts for the super computer we plan on building together.

We're looking to get the best parts in our budget and keep in mind, the best prices too, we've been looking at a site recently called Scan.co.uk

Just some questions for anyone that has ordered from them before :

    1. Are they reliable?
    2. How is the transport times for any orders made?
    3. Would you recommend them?
    4. If a part came broken, how is the customer service to deal with?

Looking to get some replies asap... Thank you. :D

Scan are fine, and reliable. Hardwareversand.de is probably going to be cheaper though

Thanks for the quick and awesome reply. Do you know by any chance the shipping options available to Ireland? Express Delivery Perhaps?

Scan are great (if not a little expensive)

Check out their bundle offers you can get a very reasonable upgrade for cheap.

HWVS would be the cheapest but I've heard some nightmare stories about their customer service.

Had an awful RMA experience with them over a €10 wifi adapter would you believe. Only started replying to emails after getting in touch via social media. They were grand when things worked out, but their RMA procedure leaves a lot to be desired. In fairness, part fault was probably their courier who never collected the item many days they were supposed to, but even after the adapter was tested faulty the communications stopped again, took over 2 months to get a cheque refund (didn't have a replacement adapter of the same in stock) which I found unacceptable.
Interestingly probably gave them over 5k of purchases before this happened, won't use them again after that frustrating experience though.

    Nick
