Dental implant

I recently had a tooth extraction and plan to get an implant. It's my first lower right molar. My dentist who I am really happy with doesn't offer the full service. He quoted me €3,000 for the procedure. €1,500 for him and €1,500 for another dentist who will carry out the initial work (surgical bit). The price sounds excessive. I will ask him for a detailed explanation of what is required and who will perform what and an exact breakdowns costs. I think I will shop around due to the cost and it maybe that it is just inefficient to use two dentists for a procedure that 1 dentist (or dental practice)could carry out. I have one practice in mind but looking for recommendations for quality implant treatment in Dublin or the north of Ireland. Please PM me recommendations but feel free to comment on my quote without naming practices below. Thanks.
