Amazon split payment question

    Hi,

    As you can't split pay for a product online with 2 credit cards I'm just wondering if anybody has purchased a high value item on Amazon using your credit card and an Amazon gift card.

    Reason is the product is over the limit of our credit cards so if I purchase a gift card for half the amount and use a credit card for the other half would it work?

    Are there any restrictions with gift cards and items - item in question is a Macbook Pro.

    Yep what your trying to do with a gift cert and a credit card should work fine,

    Alternatively you could lodge some cash in your credit card account so that it goes into credit and temporarily increases your purchasing power.
