With the new BMW 4 series on the way does that mean the end of the M3?

What a shame if it is!

Could still offer an M3 Saloon. Or Estate.

The Coupe version will just be called the M4.

Its hardly the "end" of the M3. It'll just be called the M4

Besides, I remember reading somewhere that they'll be producing a saloon and an estate M3 also

In fairness though, the 4 series looks absolutely gorgeous! You'd get up on it in a heartbeat :pac:

Jesus, you've well and truly left us for the dark side.

    Enjoy your efficient sauerkraut.

The dark side means diesel, I'm still madly in love in my long term relationship with petrol :D

And I still have Mazda in my heart ;)

Well yeah, at least you're not trying to tell us about BMW diesels being smoothing than petrols.

I'll just leave this here. :D

Hahha lol, diesel smoother than petrol...that's a good one cian!

I'm of the opinion that I posted about the RX7's return a long time ago in one of the old chat threads!

How many cars do BMW sell now

Theres the 1 series which is a hatchback or coupe (do they still sell the coupe ?)
    the 3 series
the 4 series which is just the 3 series coupe
the z4 which is not related to the New 4 series sold as convertiable or fastback coupe
    The 5 series
the 5 series gt which that crossover thing
the 6 series which is a 5 series coupe apart from the 6 series gran coupe which is a saloon
    the 7 series
    the x series cars.
the x1 is a small jeep
then the x3 is a 3 series jeep
same with the x5 just for the 5 series.
x6 which is like a sports jeep.

Then theres the new M cars like the m135i kinda like the old m535i. M technik had a say in them but there not actually full blown M cars as well as the full blown M cars

    Then with the mini

theres the traditional Mini which is either a hatch or softtop
    The new Coupe Mini/roadster
The countryman/club van which is just a van

and looking at there website theres a mini paceman

    bloody confusing.

I thought that the M3 replacement was going to be turbo charged to reduce emissions? If that is the case we have seen the end of M cars as we knew them.
