Any deals out there for a decent spec Desktop PC.

    Monitor/Printer not essential.

Just something for day to day use, i.e. nothing too intensive, Word, Excel, browsing usually.

    Budget max, €500

Would you consider a refurbished desktop? I'm buying one from ebay currently (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/bargain-hardware?_trksid=p2047675.l2563) having read positive feedback here on boards about going down this route. Get a fairly decent spec (without a monitor though) for under €200.

You'd easily get a desktop ,monitor, keyboard, and mouse for half that on adverts. Any computer can run those programs and browse the web, you don't need a high spec for that.
