For anyone interested it seems sky are offering the HD sub for €5 p/m for 12 months. I have the family pack and I am tempted to be honest.

I rang SKY today to downgrade my package (remove movies and sports) and was given half price HD for 12 months with no contract commitment. Looks like this offer is open to anyone who currently has HD and is paying full price for it.

Can I be nosey and ask where did you hear about this ? Im interested to know, do you have to ring up and threaten to either down grade or cancel altogether, in order to get this offer ? I doubt that they will just give it out willy nilly.
