Trade-in car valuation from garage?

    Hey guys,

    I need to get a valuation for my car from a garage/dealer but am not going to be buying a new car for a while- I just want to get an idea what it's worth as a trade in. Does anyone know how best to go about this?

    It depends on what you're trading it in against - the more margin the garage have on the car you're buying, the more they can give you for your own.
