Can anyone recommend a good memory card for the 3DS? I want a decent size upgrade, and I was looking at the SanDisk 32GB Ultra SDHC, class 10, goes for about €20 on amazon, maybe someone has experience with one of these? I think a class 6 card is the the fastest speed the 3DS can read at, just want to e sure I get a compatible card. :)

    Also a side-question if I may...

When you upgrade or change the SD card...what happens all the downloaded games on the 3DS? I presume they are free to redownload? If so, I have the Ambassador titles on my 3DS & the free Zelda 4 Swords that was given to us later on...are they all still on the shop to redownload?

They should be, but the easier solution is to pop the SD card into a computer/laptop, copy the files/folders onto the new SD card, and away you go.

They're not encrypted & are viewable by a pc...surely not Jim?

The actual files are encrypted, but you can copy/paste the 3DS folder from SD card to SD card freely :)

^ This. I've done it before myself, moving from the supplied SD card to a 32GB card.

May I ask what brand and speed SD card you got? Is it any faster or a bit slower than the old one, using a higher capacity card? Also, do you need to format the new card for the 3ds first or anything?

I've used a class 4,6, 10 and regular sd card in my 3ds, they didn't get noticeably slower or faster at any point.
