    Hi all,
Looking for recommendations for a natural daytime lipstick for paler skin tones.
I unfortunately fell in love with a limited edition no7 shade and haven't been able to find anything close since!

    Thanks, xxx

Topshop have some gorgeous shades was just checking them out yesterday (they have a nice soft sheen so they're not drying) and the new Kate Moss Rimmel matte lipsticks have a few nice day time shades!

Some nice swatches here of some neutral shades and a good review I came across

    Thanks for the suggestions.
How do they wear? Are they moisturising? They seem to be bright, are they very pinky on the lips?
I must have bought 20 neutral lipsticks at this stage. Really want something subtle and comfortable for work.

They're pigmented but kinda sheer and moisturising, not dissimilar to lip butters from Revlon! There's a few lovely shades which would be day time appropriate!

The Revlon lip butters would be perfect for this! My favourite for day time is Macaroon. The Kissable Balm Stain in Honey might also be a good colour for what you want. My favourite daytime lipsticks are the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 03 and 08, Benefit's Lady's Choice and the 17 Mirror Shine lipsticks in Belle and Flirtini. MAC Lustering is also really nice if you want something with a little more colour. Most of those wouldn't be very long-lasting though - probably around 2/3 hours wear time.

I like MAC Angel and Creme Cup.

I wear the Clarin rouge prodige lipstick in orchid pink, its a nice pink colour but isn't a very bright/strong colour.

Bobbi Brown's lipstick in Sandwash Pink is a lovely colour too, its the one Kate Middleton wears

Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge in 006 Rouge Nu is a lovely colour too, very neutral, the Bobbi Brown lipstick is similar, although it is more noticeable on the lips than the Lancôme one is, although its still not very noticeable.

The Lancôme lipsticks are about €25 I think, the Bobbi Brown lipsticks are about €25 in shops (Brown Thomas and Arnotts are the only places in Ireland selling Bobbi Brown as far as I know) and the Clarins is about €20.

On the airport shopping website the Bobbi Brown lipstick is listed at €19.50.

loreal caresse in 501 nude ingenue

I also love revlon peach parfait lip butter

both of those are quite nude though so not ideal if you want to add a bit of colour!

I also like the loreal one that changes to match your lips

I like MAC's shy girl or Kate Moss in number 3, in the black packaging.
