I want to run a log splitter off my 4600 and all I have is the tipping valve. I think what I need is a double acting spool valve. Is it possible to add these on?

Most log splitters have a spool valve I would think? Just attach the feed to the external service, pull out the knob and lift up the lift lever. You will need to plumb in a return, normally by drilling out the top of the cap where you fill oil for the back axle.

You can also fit a double acting spool, valve to the 4600 instead of the "knob", later models with the Q cab had this. Would be really awkward for a sliitter though!
