Aim more to the right and see what happens.

Get two plastic bottles (500ml) and fill them with sand or something to keep them stable.

Place them on the ground a foot or so behind the ball, one at 8 o'clock (on the bottom) the other at 2 o'clock (on the top). Swing between them with your club and make sure you don't hit them. Hey presto, instant straight to draw swing.

How bad is the slice? Does it go straight and then veer off, or is it going right straight away?

I had a slice with the driver that started out straight and then veered off around mid way through its flight. I went to a pro (which is what you should really do) but what he found with me was i was attacking the ball too steeply on my downswing. What i'm practicing to get rid of this is to hit the sole of the club off the ground around my right foot on my practice swing. This encourages the muscle memory to come in at the ball on a flatter plane.

Worked for me. But do try and see a pro.

    Other alternatives to fix a slice;

Turn your right hand over at impact.
    Tuck your right elbow in.
    Pray.

Nice! Having the exact same issue on my drives!

+1 on this ^^. The release. If you feel your grip is limiting your release, turn your left hand clockwise slightly. Get used to this and you will never look back.

I think understanding exactly why it's happening can in itself help with a slice. Watching this video was the first concrete step I took to drawing the ball. I'd strongly recommend taking the time to watch his videos.

This is trackman maestro. There is a ton of 'advice' out there but I had a terrible slice and understanding the causes for myself helped me more than someone saying do this or that etc without the 'why'. Infact I know a pro and emailed him the ball flight laws and he was honest enough to admit that this wasn't what the PGA school teaches.

Watching videos don't cure slices but the correct info can be a massive help. Good luck.

Another reason could be the gear effect on woods. If you strike a ball of the heel it causes a left to right flight even if the clubface is closed to the path (which normally would result in a right to left shot).

All the other solutions won't work if this is happening.

Best drill is to go and see someone.

Get someone who knows what they are doing to watch you swing.
But you can check your grip, stance, setup yourself. Its probably grip.
If setup looks ok, and you want to have some fun, try to hit a "proper" draw (i.e swing in to out, dont just close the face)

    +1,000,000 on this.

I stumbled on one of his videos (on another forum.... I feel dirty :) )
Finding out WHY,as mrc says, was the key for me.
I was getting lessons at the time and was going ok, but when I seen one of trackmans videos it all clicked.

Finding out what I was doing wrong and being able to feel it when i was doing it was the most important thing for me. Then I started (and still am) to work on the right things to do.

I had the exact same flight as hades and yourself.

Make sure to have a watch of a few of his videos.
I re watched it (not this one, I'll send you the link tomorrow when on PC) several times in one night, not because I couldn't understand it but because I couldn't understand how simple it all was.

Its the swing path of the clubhead thro the the ball determines the shape of the shot.

Video your swing. Preferably in slow-mo if you can get something to do it.
My old samsung windows phone had slo mo setting.

It's not just the swing path but the face to path relationship and where the ball is struck on the face.

Is the one you are on about "Ball flight laws" I'd be surprised if its not, his is an excellent channel on YouTube.

I recently watched zach Allen's "Rory mcilroy push draw" too. It's not as technical but he has like 3 minutes of shot tracker/ pro tracer of rors playing a high draw and its kinda neat to see the ball flight repeating over and over. Plus he goes into the setup rors uses to hit a push draw ball centered, hands forward, face open none of which is a natural setup for a slicer of the ball. Worth a look.

It was actually these two m r c, it's not posted on his account but it is the same guy. Joseph Mayo aka Trackman.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPlZnKt9xQ4

The "click" moment was in the last minute or so of the first video and start of the second but if anyone is watching I'd start for the begining and watch the full video for best impact.

I'll take a better look later but those look like quality instruction, great find there aj.

What did it for me was the realisation that I mustn't flail my hands and arms up and down combined with a big sway in order to swing the club but to rotate my upper body away and then back through. Arms and hands follow that turn without a life of their own.
Once I did that I couldn't help but hitting it from the inside.

I know I'm only an 18 handicapper and therefore I fit the stereotype of the advice giving hacker, but I went through that process over the last year coming from a horrible hands weak push slice that nearly made me give up the game and it did work for me.

On a good way now and having fun again.

Stand about 3 inches further from the ball.put pressure on balls of your feet.make sure your belt buckle faces the target at the end of your swing.

WRONG....clubface alignment at impact controls 75% of the direction of the BF.

    You are arguing different points.

Swing path relative to club face determines shape of shot.
Clubface alignment determines the initial ball direction
